The Van Buren County Advertiser is a locally-owned and operated community shopper paper that has been serving the southwest Michigan area since 1946. Published weekly, the paper is offered free to area residents. Current owner Pam Harris purchased the paper in 1991. Since that time, the paper has underwent many improvements including expanding the circulation and coverage area, adding employees and introducing new features like special full color sections,
